When we first moved here I was really excited about the prospect of becoming a stay-at-home mom. I have never been allowed to stay home with the kids all the time because I had to work to bring in extra income, I couldn't wait to spend so much quality time with my babies. I quickly found out what everyone was talking about when they said being a stay-at-home mom was so much work… I never even had time to take a shower during the day! Finally I broke down and got Direct TV Palmdale for the house and now I let my kids watch 1 to 2 hours of TV every day and I make sure to monitor exactly what they're watching. That way I can get things done like cooking or cleaning or laundry and not have to worry about where they are or what they're doing. I love my kids but they sure can be distracting when they put their minds to it, which apparently is every second of the day.

I made sure that I dropped my DIRECTV bill that was due, in the mail before we started our journey through the desert to one of my favorite cities on earth, Las Vegas. The last time I went to Las Vegas was when I was twenty-one years old with one of my best friends from college. We stayed at the Venetian, a great hotel. We had a blast. We stayed out all night and rested by the pool during the day. We saw some great shows and I have been wanting to go back forever! Finally, My husband had a weekend off and we live close enough that we were able to swing by for the weekend. I ended up getting a great Groupon deal for the weekend. It was a two day hotel stay at a smaller hotel on the strip, tickets to a show and a dinner credit all for four hundred dollars. It was really a great way to celebrate our anniversary early. I had so much fun this time with my husband that I can’t wait to go back again!

I became a real estate agent right out of college and now I have been an agent for almost 40 years.
My family has had some financial struggles since the real estate market plummeted.

We have three kids, two of which are in college, so we are really trying to find ways to save money. My wife works as a clerk at a middle school and just accepted a part-time job as a sales clerk at a department store. She also has started clipping coupons to use at the grocery store and has nearly cut our grocery bills in half. I really appreciate all of the time and effort she has put into saving money and helping our family earn more money.

One thing that I did not want to get rid of was our security system that we got when we searched online for ADT Security Anchorage. No matter what the price, I want our family to feel safe. I believe that the housing market will pick up eventually, but it may take several years for the market to recover. In the mean time, we will continue to figure out ways to save money until I can find another career path.

Up until now, I've been so afraid to go horseback riding by myself. Even when it comes to riding on my own land, which is literally my backyard. I just like the extra company that you get from another person who's also riding a horse with you. But I'm finally getting over that fear and learning to appreciate riding solo.

I did find some pretty good tips, including taking along your cell phone to call emergency services in case something bad happens. I know that sounds like a common sense move, but I've been tempted to leave my phone at home before.

I've found that going horseback riding by yourself can be so relaxing and peaceful. It's nice to be out in nature and enjoy the silence without having to worry about stirring up some conversation. My wife worries about me riding by myself, but she knows that I'm smart about my safety when I do that.

I really didn’t know much about online shopping until my aunt gave me a dog bed for Christmas a year ago. It was such a sweet gesture and it was a really nice bed, however, it would be too small for my dog once he was not done growing.

 I ended up needing to return it, but the company it came from (Frontgate) only offered the bed online. At the time, I didn’t even have a home internet connection, but I did some research at a friend’s house on www.ClearWirelessInternet.com and decided it was time to get mobile broadband anyway.

Once I was connected, I tried to return the bed. They were out of stock but said they’d give me a credit since I had to wait for the correct bed to come in, so I spent an hour or so looking at products online, finally settling for some home décor items.

From that moment on I’ve been hooked on the art of the online deal and I hardly ever shop at brick and mortar stores anymore! Who knew?!
